Dawn Tyler Watson pays tribute to the great mothers of jazz: Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Dinah Washington.
Dawn Tyler Watson, a Montreal-based singer and songwriter, has won numerous international awards, including the 2020 JUNO Award for Blues Album of the Year.
She is a Maple Blues Awards winner for Song of the Year and Best Album/Production, along with six additional MBA Awards and nine Lys Blues Awards in Quebec.
She performed with an outstanding band led by renowned guitarist Ben Racine and won first place in the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Her moving voice and blend of blues with jazz, soul, rock, and gospel create an unforgettable experience on stages across four continents.
Robin continues to perform at jazz clubs and festivals around the world, while combining educational activities, writing, production, and management of jazz series such as Sundown Jazz @ V’s Place in Cleveland.
