A colorful children’s play about cooperation will take place in Hall 2 in Ganei Tikva. The young audience helps the two actors tell the story.
A hungry beggar arrives in a small village, hoping to receive some food. To his surprise, the villagers shut themselves away in their homes and ignore him—and do not even help one another.
The wandering beggar decides to open their hearts (and fill his stomach too) and promises to make button soup for all the village residents!
A colorful, amusing, and thought-provoking play about the power of cooperation, community solidarity, and the understanding that if everyone contributes their small part, together it is possible to do great things—and make a difference.
The children in the audience help the two actors tell the story of the play, experiencing for themselves the magic of sharing and the advantage of a united society.
