A vibrant and engaging play based on the acclaimed book series by Galila Ron-Feder-Amit, which has become a classic of Israeli children’s literature.

One adventure, a brave team of friends, and a boy who realizes that being different is his greatest strength.

In the very heart of Jerusalem live four completely different but very close friends: Ryzhik, Moshik, Sagit, and Dana.

When Moshik’s father—the director of the Israel Museum—is temporarily suspended from his position following the mysterious theft of an ancient medallion approximately 1,400 years old, Ryzhik decides to form a secret team to discover who the real culprit is.

Will the children solve the mystery without getting into trouble? Will they manage to recover the missing medallion and restore justice? And what do a cat, an apple, and a green bag found in the building’s bomb shelter have to do with all this?

“Ryzhik” is a thrilling detective play full of imagination, humor, intrigue, and touching moments. It is a coming-of-age story about a boy who realizes that true leadership is not expressed through loud words, but through the ability to listen and bring people together.
