Lecturer: Col. (Res.) David Yahav, who completed his law studies at Tel Aviv University and served for 20 years in the Military Advocate General’s Corps, rising to senior positions as head of the IDF International Law Department and deputy senior military advocate.
International humanitarian law imposes severe restrictions on a party to an armed conflict, particularly when facing an unconstrained terrorist organization. Hypocritical and unprecedented allegations have been made against Israel’s actions.
Israel is not doing what is necessary to defend itself and protect its commanders and soldiers from legal proceedings around the world. What must Israel do?
