A moving Hebrew-Arabic bilingual performance that brings Ehud Banai together with his longtime friend and collaborator, George Samaan, for a musical celebration combining Ehud’s personal songs with Arabic, Lebanese, and Galilean folk songs, including works by the Rahbani brothers written for the legendary Fairuz.
Thirty years after their first meeting, Ehud and George return to one another not only as musical partners, but as friends on a shared journey, with art as the bridge between them. Their connection has developed over the years through mutual appreciation, a love of music, and a shared vision of bringing cultures together. Through sound, they create a new language—a language of the heart.
In the performance, they speak and sing: Ehud in Hebrew, George in Arabic. Together, they lead the audience on a journey between Gush Dan and Aleppo, between voices that sound different yet carry the same longing. This is an evening in which Ehud and George prove that music is stronger than any border, that it can unite even the two banks of the river and transform them into one current of hope, friendship, and beauty.
