
Three-day hiking route on the Israel National Trail, Sections 59–61, in the northern Eilat Mountains area. 40 km via the Shayyarot Cliffs, Uvda Valley, Timna Valley, and Solomon’s Pillars.
Israel National Trail, Sections 59+60+61 – Northern Eilat Mountains Campus (Three Days)
On the first day, we will make our way from the settlement of Shaharut, via the Shiryon Cliffs and the Uvda Valley, to Malhan Well, where we will sleep at a field campsite.
On the second day, we will continue south via Matz Well, descending through a very scenic and dramatic route into the Timna Valley, via the Malhan Ascent and Mangan Stream, to Elifaz.
On the third day, we will cross the Timna Valley via Alaxon Stream and Mount Timna, passing Solomon’s Pillars and the lake, to the landfill at Be’er Ora.
