From the Small Crater to the Top of Ma’ale Akrabim. Section 56 from north to south. Distance: 9.5 kilometers. Starting point: Ashmedai Gate, the entrance to the Small Crater. End point: the top of Ma’ale Akrabim, where the trail meets Route 227. Elevation changes: +572 / −60 meters. Points of interest: Hatzeira Stream, the crater walls, Ma’ale Ali, and the Crater Lookout.
