A new production from the artistic direction of Maestro Gil Shochat

A new production of the beloved and colorful La Bohème by Puccini, Italy's great Verismo composer and heir to Verdi. This opera marked Puccini's first major success. It depicts the lives of four young bohemian artists living their art with joy on one hand, yet in shameful poverty on the other, with the plot centered on a love story woven between Rodolfo and Mimì.

The work, which begins in a light and comic manner, transforms into a heartbreaking human tragedy. Shochat brings an innovative concept of presenting the work's most famous and popular passages in a concert format, with explanatory remarks delivered by the conductor and aided by a colorful video presentation featuring original images created using artificial intelligence technology that explains the plot. A fresh symphony orchestra is joined by the Meyan choir of Tel Aviv.

The soloists are among the most prominent opera singers of operatic singing today in Israel, all with international reputations, including through leading roles they have performed at the Israeli Opera and opera houses around the world.
