The play "Agonia" touches the heart with issues of identity, belonging, and grappling with remnants of the past, through a moving story about a small Greek taverna in Haifa in the 1960s. The play examines the story of a Holocaust survivor forced to confront his traumatic past, when a young woman from Thessaloniki arrives in Israel and reminds him of what was forgotten, through scenes filled with humor, authentic Greek music, and dramatic moments.
