Reunion show of the Chocolate Menta Mastik trio at Kivunim in Beersheba. Yardena Arazi, Ruti Holzman, and Leah Lupatin return with their greatest hits.
Who is the Mint? Who is the Gum? Who is the Chocolate?
The sweet, nostalgic magic of Israel’s first girl trio, Chocolate, Mint and Gum: Yardena Arazi, Ruti Holzman and Leah Lupatin.
The trio Chocolate, Mint and Gum was formed in December 1972 especially for the Children’s Song Festival, and went on to achieve tremendous success in Israel and abroad. During its six years of activity, the trio recorded four albums, won every major award, performed at every major singing festival and on television programs, represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest, embarked on an international tour afterward, and recorded songs with leading creators in Europe.
Even after the trio disbanded, Yardena, Ruti and Leah remained best friends and continued to share the stage over the years. It is no wonder that their signature song, “Who Is the Mint? Who Is the Gum? Who Is the Chocolate?” became a TikTok hit that captured the hearts of the younger generation as well.
Now they are reuniting and, for the first time since 1978, presenting a brand-new full-length show featuring all their greatest hits over the years: “Say Hello,” “It’s Good, It’s Good,” “Noah,” “Oh, My Homeland,” “Venezuela,” “Snow on My City,” “A Holiday for Me,” “Spring Celebration,” “Who Is the Mint? Who Is the Gum? Who Is the Chocolate?” and many more sweet surprises.
From the 1970s to the TikTok era, this is a stage reunion you won’t want to miss.
