Advance screening of the film “Leo and Lou’s Story” on December 27, 2026, at the Bat Yam Cultural Center. Before the screening: a lecture by Dr. Eyal Bors.
Leo, a mute orphan who struggles to fit in, escapes from the institution to attend a fishing competition that reminds her of her parents. She teams up with Lou—a nonconformist man with no job and no money. He agrees to let her into his car, and they set off on an adventure during which they become inseparable and discover the extraordinary meaning of the word “family.”
