Board games — October 29 at the Batiya Youth Center, Bat Yam. Participation by registration, for guests aged 18–35.
The last Thursday of October, and we’re gathering again in Bat Yam for a board-game night. This is an established, lively group that we’re joining. The clatter of dice, the rustle of cards, someone’s triumphant shout across the table, and the collective groan of the losers. Games for every taste, from quick and easy ones to warm up with, to long strategy games lasting the whole evening. Never played before? No problem—we’ll teach you everything; sit down and give it a try. There are also participants who speak Hebrew, so it’s a great opportunity to improve your conversational Hebrew and meet locals.
Bring your own board games—the more games, the more interesting the evening. Cost: 25 shekels; beer and chips are included. Smoking is allowed only outside; we leave the place clean after the game.
Batya Youth Center, 7 Rahav Street, Bat Yam.
How to find it: The entrance is on the right side of the building. Go all the way to the end and climb the stairs to the very top. Street parking is available at 16 Mivtza Sinai Street.
Thursday, October 29, starting at 21:00. We’ll play until the last participant leaves.
For ages 18 to 35. Guests from any city are welcome.
Participation by advance registration only.
