A Geography and Cultures Workshop for parents and children led by a Montessori instructor. The children will become explorers, discover what exists on Earth, and learn about different nations and cultures. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, exchange opinions, and develop respect for various cultures.
The volunteer team of the Bat Yam Montessori community, in collaboration with the Community Department in the city, invites you, parents and children, to a community meeting - "Around the World in 3 Hours" - a geography and cultures workshop for parents and children.
Hosted by Meital Kalimi Don - Montessori instructor.
Our world is a wonderful and special thing that just waits for us to explore and discover what exists in it.
Have you ever asked yourself what makes up our Earth? What distinguishes the distant continents? What fascinating cultures exist on the other side of the Earth and which are closer to us? What does nature look like in Africa, and what animals will we encounter if we get to Antarctica?
I invite you and your children on a journey around our world, where we will become researchers discovering and learning about all that exists on our wonderful Earth.
What will we discover on our shared journey?
- **What the world is made of**: We'll explore the three realms of existence on Earth, what characterizes them, and what can be found in each.
- **Cultural journey**: We'll dive into getting to know different nations and cultures and see different ways humans live on Earth, touching on clothing styles, types of houses, and rituals and customs.
- **Connection and dialogue**: An opportunity to ask questions, exchange opinions, observe with curious eyes, and develop respect for diverse cultures.
In the workshop, we'll discover that diversity among humans is one of the magical things that exist in humanity. Thanks to this diversity, a rich and spectacular human mosaic of stories and ways of life is created.
The difference between people is not a gap to be bridged - but a rare opportunity to expand the heart and curiosity.
Full refund for cancellations until 03.08.2026 20:00.
