The popular musical returns to the Ashkelon Hall. An exhilarating Spanish celebration featuring dancers, actors, seven musicians, and four singers—a major production with 18 artists on one stage.

Two families, embarking on their fascinating journeys to the Land of Israel, meet by chance and share a common dream: to live together on Mount Canaan in Safed. Together, they set out on a journey filled with adventures, danger, romance, excitement, and countless dreams.

The play is based on the unique story of Grandma Louise and Grandpa Sassi, British subjects who immigrated from Tunisia to Safed and lived there until their final days.

The result is a rich and sweeping theatrical experience: Ladino from the family home, Spanish, Maghrebi singing, and the finest Israeli classics with an Andalusian flavor, alongside outstanding acting.

Grandma Louise and Grandpa Sassi smuggle their eldest son, Meir, to Palestine. The British army insists on recruiting him, and that is out of the question. Their longing for Meir is intense.

Their younger son, Haim, who currently lives with them in Marseille, longs for his beloved Sarah, who is still living in Tunisia with her parents.

These events deeply shake Louise and Sassi, who face a difficult dilemma: should they remain in Marseille and give in to a comfortable life of wealth and thriving commerce, or immigrate to Israel and reunite with their eldest son? But what should they do about Haim, their younger son, whose heart is broken?

No less important is their commitment to the Rescue Committee, which would later become the Mossad. They were part of a secret network of agents carrying out special missions.
