This coming Hanukkah, Israel will host the legendary Moscow Nikulin Circus—one of the most famous, oldest, and most prestigious circuses in the world.
This time, it arrives with “The Nutcracker,” a circus show on ice being presented in Israel for the first time.
Based on the magical winter fairy tale by Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, the show combines the elegance of figure skating, breathtaking circus acts, and a rich, colorful theatrical production.
The Nikulin Circus on Ice troupe—the world’s first circus on ice—under the direction of Natalia Abramova, proudly continues a long-standing artistic tradition that has become a symbol of excellence in the circus world, while combining it with a contemporary artistic vision.
“The Nutcracker” is a spectacular show for the entire family, combining figure skating, world-class acrobatics, juggling, clowning, and aerial artists in impressive choreography, performed by leading artists.
The show features advanced stage technologies, lavish theatrical sets, approximately 300 beautifully designed costumes, impressive lighting and special effects, and real snow falling on the stage to complete the magical atmosphere of the beloved winter fairy tale.
