Shlomo Baby - Baby in a Stand-Up Comedy Show!

You’ve probably seen or heard of Shlomo Baby Baby—on stage performing alongside Guri Alfi, Tzvika Hadar, or Asaf Mor Yosef; perhaps on Reshet 13’s morning show as a panelist; or, like everyone else, through his stand-up clips on social media.

Shlomo Baby Baby is one of the rising names in Israel’s stand-up scene. For more than a decade, he has performed on the country’s most prominent stages with an original stand-up show he wrote—a witty performance that courageously, honestly, and distinctively addresses every aspect of life in an especially funny way.

One of the reasons for the show’s uniqueness is that Shlomo is the son of Ethiopian immigrants. In the performance, he discusses cultural and generational gaps, childhood experiences, racism, and social disparities in a way that makes everyone view the bigger picture from a slightly different angle—an unexpected and, above all, funny one.

Shlomo has also made several television appearances, including in the documentary series Eretz Levana, Shai in the Broadcast, HaKolot HaTzafim, comedy sketches on Teddy Channel, and the Emmy Award-winning series Nevsu.

In addition, Shlomo broadcast on the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation’s radio station Kan Tarbut, collaborated with Kan’s digital division, and led videos that went viral.
