The Israeli Andalusian Orchestra and Raviv Kaner’s Project come together for an evening dedicated to the piyyutim of Selichot, prayer, and songs born from Jewish tradition that have become an inseparable part of the Israeli soundtrack.
The performance combines ancient piyyutim of Selichot with Israeli classics and contemporary songs, in new orchestral arrangements that bring together Andalusian tradition, Mediterranean music, and the Israeli sound.
Between the synagogue and the concert stage, between the ancient piyyut and the Israeli song, the profound musical connection that continues to resonate today is revealed.
This performance honors a living tradition—one renewed in every generation and continuing to shape the soundtrack of Israeli society.
