Baba Yaga's New Year's Adventures

Ahead of the December holidays, the Zero Theater offers a unique opportunity to attend a Grand New Year’s Performance!

For many Russian-speaking residents of Israel, celebrating the New Year together with the Zero Theater has become a cherished tradition. Adults and children alike fondly remember the unforgettable New Year productions The Little Humpbacked Horse, Vasilisa the Beautiful, The Grand New Year’s Carnival of Fairy Tales, and Morozko, where Ded Moroz and Snegurochka greet the audience, a magnificent sparkling New Year tree shines brightly, and fun games and lively songs involve the entire hall, creating an atmosphere of magic and childhood joy.

The theater also presents the play Baba Yaga’s New Year Adventures, starring the most memorable character from Russian fairy tales—Baba Yaga!

Look forward to an exciting and humorous performance featuring magic, transformations, numerous characters in exquisite costumes, and a “real” Winter Forest—a stunning theatrical set!

This is truly a family celebration that will delight both children and adults with its brightness, freshness, and magical atmosphere. The performance is filled with music, dancing, and special effects. The heroes’ fairy-tale adventures in the New Year Forest are presented with imagination and humor.

You will see amazing characters ranging from Mowgli and Baloo to Pippi Longstocking and the Fly-Tsokotukha!

Marina Belyavtseva and Oleg Rodovilsky are responsible for creating all this magic. Folk music, magnificent costumes, and sets were designed by A. Bar-Dov, while the pyrotechnics and special effects are by Yasmin Rodovilskaya.

And, of course, the theater’s beloved performers will be on stage.
