Meeting Point — Between History and a Life Story

The Museum of Philistine Culture in Ashdod invites you to a special guided tour as part of the “Making Souls” Week, raising awareness of mental health.
The tour takes place in the permanent exhibition, “The World of the Philistines”—a people who experienced wandering and migration, the loss of home and anchor, and consequently, an erosion of their community members’ feelings of security and belonging.
The tour, which spans the layers of archaeology and the strata of the inner world, and moves between the tangible and the emotional, is intended for individuals and groups who have experienced significant events in their lives, with privacy, empathy, and sensitivity maintained.
The tour lasts approximately 50 minutes, followed by a gathering for discussion and summation.
