The musical My Mika, featuring songs by Yair Rosenblum, is a moving Israeli love story unfolding against the backdrop of turbulent years that shaped an entire generation. Between the euphoria of 1967 and the upheaval of 1973, a group of young men and women stands on the threshold of enlistment and of life itself.
Mika is torn between two attachments: Gidi—her first love, who returns from the war battered by fate and eager to escape everything—and Ari—a classmate who finds a new path through faith and wins her heart.
This is a musical drama about love, separation, and coming of age, woven from Yair Rosenblum’s immortal songs: from the ballad about Hedva and Shlomik and the song about everyday life to “The Last Rain,” where the melody itself becomes the fateful thread of the narrative.
