The Ashdod Social Services Administration and the Department of Community Work and Mediation invite you to a basic mediation course combined with Tai Chi—a new path to dialogue and personal resilience.
A unique and pioneering course in which you will be invited on a journey combining the world of mediation with the wisdom of movement found in Tai Chi.
In a world with numerous disputes and tensions, the ability to listen, understand, and bridge differences between people is a true strength.
During the course, you will acquire practical tools that will help you:
✨ As part of the course experience, several Tai Chi sessions will also take place to help develop calm, inner balance, and presence in dialogue.
Beyond learning, the course creates a quality group—a space for meeting others, collaboration, and building a young community around the values of dialogue, listening, and social impact.

12 sessions, Mondays, 17:00–21:00
Location: Safra Community Center, 4 Av Street, Quarter 12, Ashdod
Subsidized course fee:
*₪100 discount for family members of IDF and security forces personnel.
Course instructor:
Mariela Yavetz Bokhanik—social worker, mediator, organizational consultant, and lecturer.
✔ At the end of the course, participants who meet the course requirements will receive a mediator certificate (85% attendance).
✔ The course is held in accordance with the Ministry of Justice guidelines.
✔ Course graduates will be asked to volunteer 20 hours in the community.
⚠ Limited places available | An admissions interview will be held before acceptance to the course.
