Fiddler on the Roof

The plot follows Tovia the Milkman, a poor Jew and father of five daughters, who tries to support his family according to tradition within a hostile environment during a period of expulsion decree. The production is led by director Natan Dater and features an extensive cast.

Based on the stories of Sholem Aleichem. Tevye the Dairyman, a poor Jew and father to five daughters, tries to support his family according to religious commandments and tradition—within a hostile and changing environment whose influence grows ever stronger. He struggles to cope with the desires of his adult daughters, whose choice of suitors does not meet with his approval. In addition to domestic troubles, an expulsion order falls upon all the Jews in the town, ordering them to leave their homes where they were born and lived.
A stunning production, directed with sensitivity and love for the monumental work of the great Jewish writer, Sholem Aleichem.
