A light and nostalgic conversation about the Iraqi community in the city, the food, the stories, and the atmosphere that turned Ramat Gan into a warm home for colorful and joyful Iraqi culture.
La Falfoula – Iraqi Groove
Iraqi tradition. Dancing. Show. Soul. "La Falfoula" is a live, colorful, and captivating show that brings back the Iraqi music of the 30s and 40s – not through Western arrangements or contemporary rhythms, but through dance, expression, and a living connection with the audience. The musicians on stage – all of whom are also singers – sing in ancient Iraqi Arabic, as Yosef Zaarur and his band sounded in their time. Each of them lives the tradition in their body and voice, making the show an exciting celebration where everyone participates – including the audience. The show is more than a concert – it is a ceremony, a party, a performance, and a lesson in living musical history. Yohani, with eye movements and body language, creates a dialogue with each of the musicians – and of course, with the audience.
