Ohad Naharin’s dance project from the Bat-Dor company explores the dual nature of its main character. The work contrasts raw, archetypal earthly force with a continuous search for personal identity. The choreographic composition demonstrates the constant interplay of attraction and repulsion between these two states. The performance lasts approximately 70 minutes.

Momo has two souls—one appears drawn from the depths of the earth, a soul containing archetypes and myths of cohesive, raw masculinity, while the other is in constant search for a distinct, individual DNA. One operates like a sort of independent gravitational force that is unconnected to anything, while the other consists of bodies that move around this same force—receding from it, drawn to it, making room for necessary softness and release.
