The plot starts two weeks before the events of October 7 and unfolds over the time that has passed since. Shiri Artzi and Yiftach Klein, a married couple in life and on stage, portray the everyday moments from the absurd reality of the past two and a half years in a raw, touching, and funny manner. They distill the elements of the collective experience of the era and gaze with compassion and humor at questions that concern most of us: How do we live in a time that doesn’t really "return to itself"? What happens to a relationship, to parenting, or to routine when intimacy is required to enter a perpetual "emergency mode"?

About the Authors:
Shiri Artzi is a screenwriter, television personality, and author, recipient of the Academy of Television Award for Best Drama Series Screenplay for "In Treatment" and the Minister of Culture's Prize for a debut book for "Mud" (Haragol, 2006). Yiftach Klein is an actor who has appeared and starred in dozens of films, series, and plays. Both have previously created inspired by their relationship: Artzi published "Stories from the Separation" in 2022, which deals with separation within a long-term relationship. Klein wrote, directed, and stars in the play "Slide Night," which deals with marital crisis, male vulnerability, and the intersection of the personal and the collective. "What Happened to Us" is their first joint performance, created and performed together.
