An Israeli Comedy with Interest
Udi and Tamar are an ordinary couple, with an ordinary overdraft and an ordinarily monstrous mortgage. When they run into financial hardship and turn to the bank for help, they discover that the only way to get rid of the mortgage involves the death of one of the spouses.
With no other choice, they decide to stage Udi’s death in order to collect the insurance money, embarking on a wild journey during which they discover what really matters in life (spoiler: not the mortgage).
