Gilboa Trek! A challenging hike along the Gilboa Ridge, overlooking the Jezreel Valley and Lower Galilee. From Mount Saul, we will descend to Jonathan’s Hill. We will walk east through the most beautiful valley in the world, at the foot of the mountain, to Old Tel Yosef. We will ascend through the Hidden Valley to the summit of Mount Barkan, the highest among the Gilboa peaks, from which we will look out over northern Samaria, the Gilead, the Galilee, and the expanses of the Jezreel Valley. We will see Gilboa irises blooming in all their glory. We will return west along scenic roads via the Vinya lookout to Mount Saul.
