Ephraim Kishon, one of the greatest creators, satirists, and filmmakers to emerge in the State of Israel, left behind a rare cultural treasure of films, stories, and characters that have become part of the soundtrack of our lives.

Salach Shabati, The Policeman Azulai, The Canal in the Pasha’s Garden, and additional works continue to move, amuse, and touch the heart even today.

In this special show, his son, Dr. Rafi Kishon, will be a guest, taking the audience on a personal and moving journey behind the scenes of his father’s life and work.

In his unique style, with humor and affection, Rafi will share rare stories, fascinating anecdotes, and personal memories of the man behind the works that have become treasured classics of Israeli culture.

Alongside the stories, Arik Davidov and the musicians will create a musical celebration of unforgettable melodies from Israeli and international cinema—from Cinema Paradiso, Love Story, The Godfather, and Doctor Zhivago to beloved melodies from Ephraim Kishon’s films.

A moving and magical evening, where music and stories meet on one stage—a tribute to one of Israel’s great cultural figures and to the soundtrack that has become part of our lives.
