Klezmer, Gypsy music and swing concert with Gilad Harel and Ilya Maglenik at the Miron Sima Auditorium, Mishkan LeOmanut. An evening of tradition, improvisation and multicultural dialogue.
Gilad Harel – Clarinet, Ilya Magalnik – Accordion
A fascinating musical encounter between two creators with distinct personal styles and broad artistic curiosity, coming together for an evening of lively, vibrant multicultural dialogue.
The concert moves between klezmer, gypsy music, and swing traditions, blending them into a colorful, unified musical language.
Clarinetist Gilad Harel, a chamber musician and multidisciplinary artist with extensive experience performing on stages and at festivals in Israel and around the world, joins accordionist Ilya Magalnik, a virtuoso who gives the accordion orchestral power and expressive depth.
Together, they present a fresh, virtuosic, and joyful interpretation of folk pieces and material from their joint album, KlezmAir—a “small concert” where tradition and improvisation meet in an immersive, lively experience.
