Israel Trail Lite – from Kedesh Valley to Mount Naftali
A hike on the Israel National Trail from Kadesh Valley to Mount Naftali will take place on December 17, 2026, with departure from and return to Shoham. The route is 11 km long.
Further details: From the Kadesh Valley to Mount Naftali (11 km) — a wonderful and fascinating section that begins on the outskirts of Yiftah Kibbutz and the Kadesh Valley and leads to the British police building (Koach Fortress), built as part of establishing a defensive line during and after the Arab Revolt. We will continue through the remains of the Shiite village of Nabi Yusha and from there to Mount Naftali and a little beyond.
Entry to Koach Fortress is possible for an additional fee.
The routes are suitable for hikers at an easy/intermediate level (up to 12 km in good conditions).
One-day routes by private bus, departing from and returning to Shoham.
