Hanukkah – Following the Maccabees in the Lowlands and the Hill Country

We will tour the Adullam region along a beautiful scenic route, enter the ancient hiding tunnels at Horvat Burgin, and learn who the Maccabees really were and when and how they lived here. We will then climb to the Jerusalem Hills for agricultural nature and springs in the Sataf area, take part in a family treasure hunt, share dinners, light candles, prepare sufganiyot, and conclude the trip with a fascinating tour and lookout at the Tombs of the Maccabees.
