A practical and humorous lecture by Hila Korach on changing habits and training the brain. The lecture will begin at 20:30 at Galilee Panhandle Culture.
Most people fear the unknown, worrying about an involuntary reaction or an action they would not want to take. But life is not a sterile environment, and we often encounter challenging situations.
Hila Korach—a journalist, television personality, and doctor of medicine—will give a funny and practical talk about how we can change habits, train our brains to think differently, and increase our chances of following through on the decisions we have made.
She will discuss what motivates us to take action and what prevents us from doing so; what happens in our bodies when we fear an unfamiliar situation; how we can train our brains to act differently; and the extent to which we can break through the limitations we were born with or accumulated throughout our lives.
A session that is partly personal, partly scientific, and above all practical—about the tools that can improve our chances of keeping our “New Year’s resolutions,” just before the new year begins.
Please note: From 19:30, a rich evening reception will be served for subscribers only: a cocktail reception with the lecturer before the event.
The lecture will begin at 20:30.
Seating is unassigned.
