Descriptiontranslated from Hebrew (original)
Did you know that 93% of our messages are conveyed through body language? How much can you discover about a person just from a handshake? And how can we solve (almost) anything with a smile?
Lior Kalfon in an extraordinary, experiential stand-up lecture about the funny and amazing secrets behind our body language, through which we unconsciously convey 93% (!) of our messages—so how we say something is more important than what we say…
As an expert in physical comedy who has performed and directed countless characters and impersonations, Lior uses various characters to demonstrate fascinating chapters on the nonverbal meaning of our different body parts and on “the most widely spoken language in the world.”
An interactive comedy session combining simple theater games with audience participation.
During the session, Lior Kalfon will discuss the importance of first impressions; the science of facial expressions—mimicry; the messages conveyed by a handshake; everything about eye contact—speaking with our eyes; the tremendous power of a smile; the meaning of our tone and pace of speech; the importance of a power pose; the influence of different sitting positions on us; and more…
The lecture provides basic tools for everyday use to understand the messages we convey through our bodies and to understand the person standing before us.
A fascinating session—don’t miss it!
