A musical and storytelling performance by Mindi Erlich and Sophie Tsedaka at the South Sharon Cultural Center. They share their life stories and sing empowering songs.
Mindy Ehrlich, who appeared on Married at First Sight 2025 and created the successful, award-winning film Pink Lady, which conquered cinema screens in Israel and festivals worldwide, together with Sophie Tzedaka, the singer and actress who is captivating theater stages in Israel and abroad, present their musical collaboration.
They share a similar life journey:
Both escaped closed communities—Mindy from the ultra-Orthodox community and Sophie from the Samaritan community.
Sophie converted to Judaism; she has a hilarious conversion story that brings the audience to the floor laughing.
Barefoot: From Escape to Choice…
In the performance, they tell their inspiring and moving life stories, seasoned with humor. Between the words, they sing familiar empowering songs accompanied by a keyboardist:

- “I Forgive You”
- Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” in two languages
