Ein Fit Spring and the Orchards of Nahal Para

About the Activity

Near the road leading up to Mount Hermon lies Ein Pith, a small and wonderful spring in the heart of a picturesque valley filled with water, lush orchards, native Israeli trees, and wildlife.

Not long ago, this paradise was saved from destruction thanks to a determined environmental campaign led by local residents, environmental activists, the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, and the Golan and Hermon Field School.

We will begin the hike from the access road, where we will park the vehicles and walk toward Ein Pith.

During the hike, we will explore the unique wadi of Nahal Pere, pass through the ancient orchards of the Alawite village that stood here until 1967, visit a mysterious burial cave, and hear the fascinating heritage and rescue story of this beautiful corner.

In the appropriate season, we will also enjoy wonderful, colorful spring blossoms!

This is a delightful route combining abundant nature, fascinating history, and a spirit of nature conservation!
