Sixteen-year-old Assaf is tasked with locating the owner of a stray dog wandering the streets of Jerusalem. The dog guides him from place to place through the life story of Tamara, a lonely and turbulent teenager who embarked on a perilous quest to save her brother, who had become entangled in a dark tale. Someone to Run With, one of Israel’s most beloved books and the winner of the 2001 Sapir Prize for Literature, has been adapted into a television series and a feature film.
