A performance that combines Morocco’s deep roots with rock ’n’ roll distortion.
A cross-generational musical journey introducing the audience to the key milestones in Haim Uliel’s rich career. Mani Bagr will join Sfatayim onstage for a song and will also perform some of his well-known hits.
Among the iconic songs performed:
“ Ahlan wa Sahlan,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Man and Violin,” “Newspaper,” “Let Him Go,” “Mama,”
along with many more musical surprises from forty years of Haim Uliel’s career.
Sfatayim made a significant contribution to the integration of Moroccan music in particular, and Mizrahi music in general, into Israeli culture and consciousness. The band also introduced Jewish Moroccan-language singing into Israeli Mizrahi music. Sfatayim received a platinum record for selling more than 40,000 records and CDs, becoming the only band in its field to achieve this status.
The performance is a celebration of rhythm, color, and exuberant joy, suitable for a wide range of ages—from those who grew up with Sfatayim to the younger generation that appreciates high-quality rock with soul.
The Beit Ha-Mizrah performances invite you to our winter venue for major performances at the HaZore’a Kibbutz hall—the only place in northern Israel with a party atmosphere at every show. Food and drink stalls are available on-site.
Especially now, it is time to go out for an evening of escapism—an evening filled with music, smiles, and atmosphere.
