Synopsis

When you have nothing, pursuing your dreams is the greatest wealth of all.

Samay, who lives with his family in a remote village in India, is mesmerized when he discovers cinema for the first time. To his father’s dismay, he returns to the cinema day after day to watch more films and befriends the projectionist, who lets him watch films for free in exchange for his lunchbox. He soon understands that stories become light, light becomes films, and films become dreams.

Samay and his mischievous gang move heaven and earth to capture and project light, with which they can show a film on celluloid. Together, with great resourcefulness and excitement, they manage to create a neighborhood cinema that fills them with happiness.

However, pursuing a dream also means leaving things behind.
