Birdwatching activities and a kite workshop on Tuesday, October 27, at Kochav HaYarden National Park. Guided tours, games, and activities about bird migration.
“Autumn has returned the birds,” as The Suburbs sing—but why from here, and why now?
The migration season is in full swing, and our national park is located along one of the main migration routes 🦜
In honor of Election Day, we invite you to watch the migratory birds’ journey over the Jordan Valley and understand the importance of our country on the global migration map.
Come migrate with us to distant lands and get to know the world of birds up close.
In addition, join an experiential kite workshop: build your own kite, decorate it inspired by the birds in the sky, and fly it together on the wind above the valley!
Every family that registers in advance receives one free kite; no registration is required for additional kites.
Kites can be purchased at the visitor services center.
A variety of bird- and migration-themed activities and games await you at the site.
When: Tuesday, October 27
