A captivating musical following the rise of Fanny Brice, a young Jewish woman from Brooklyn who fits no accepted mold, but possesses exceptional comedic talent and unwavering determination. Alongside her professional success, a complex relationship develops between her and Nick Arnstein—a charming and ambitious man who lives on the edge and struggles to stay away from the world of gambling.

Fanny’s career takes off when she joins the prestigious Ziegfeld Follies, but her personal life is thrown into turmoil when Nick gets into trouble and is forced to leave the country. Her decision to follow him changes the course of her life, and when they both return, she finds herself torn between the stage and a love that threatens to bring everything crashing down.
