A musical children’s play about Lila, who has to cope with moving house and changes in her family. The play is intended for ages 3–8 and lasts about an hour.
The new hit from the Orna Porat Theatre—the first-place winner at the 2026 Haifa Children’s Theatre Festival.
Laila the little elephant loves things to stay the way they are. Her home is tidy, her parents are always there, and everything has its designated place. Soon, she will have a little sister, but for now her world feels safe and familiar.
On her birthday, in the middle of the party, her parents announce that they are going to move house. Laila refuses to accept the news. This is her home, and she is not willing to give it up so quickly!
In amusing, original, and touching attempts, and with the help of her friend Guri, Laila tries to stop the move. But she gets herself into trouble and finds herself far from the people she loves most. A special meeting with her grandmother Gloria opens a window for her to look at things a little differently. With her help, Laila discovers that it is not always possible to stop change—but it is possible to go through it together.
A funny, imaginative, and moving musical play about the things that give us stability in life, family, friendship, and the ability to cope with change.
