
Guided Saturday tour in Sdot Yam and Nahal Hadera, including the river mouth, the shark lookout, and the Hannah Szenes Museum. The tour lasts 3 hours.
Saturday hike with Gadi’s Wanderers’ Club, led by Achav Sdot Yam
Hadera and Forest. Hadera Stream. We will visit the mouth of Hadera Stream. We will walk along the banks of the restored stream to “The Beach That the Stream Left.” We will climb to the shark lookout and visit the Avshalom Feinberg monument, which was relocated here.
We will continue to Sdot Yam—The Road to Caesarea. We will visit the recently renovated Hannah Szenes Museum. We will learn about the paratroopers who went to Europe to fight the Nazis. We will visit the beach strip at Sdot Yam, where the words of the song “The Road to Caesarea” were written.
We will follow Hadera’s story from the days of the First Aliyah. We will find out who Olga (from the hill) and Joshua the Redeemer were. We will finish at Kfar Hayam and Benjamin Bay—charming spots below Olga’s “Radar.”
The hike’s difficulty level is adapted to the nature of the group—easy. The walking routes are not necessarily accessible. The hike will take place subject to a minimum number of registrations. Routes may change according to the security situation or the guide’s discretion. The number of places is limited.
