A practical course in regenerative agriculture takes place on Fridays, 16 October 2026–22 January 2027, at Magen in Ramat HaShavim. 8 three-hour sessions.
Would you like to learn how to grow seasonal vegetables yourself and create a healthy, abundant garden? Curious to discover how you can work with nature, nurture the soil, and grow food using a regenerative approach?
Join a hands-on course in regenerative agriculture, where over 8 sessions you will go through the complete process—from planning and establishing a vegetable garden to harvesting and saving seeds for the next season.
At every session, you will go out into the garden and learn through hands-on practice. You will sow, plant, work with the soil and compost, care for the plants, and become closely acquainted with the ecosystem that enables the garden to thrive. Throughout the course, you will see how the garden changes and develops, and gain knowledge and tools that you can also apply in your own garden or on your balcony.
Each participant will have a personal growing area on the farm, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and follow the growing process throughout the season.
Each session will last approximately three hours and include short breaks for rest and socializing together. During the breaks, you will drink fresh herbal infusions from the garden and prepare snacks together using produce harvested on the farm. A full meal will not be served.
The course will be taught by Harry, who grows and develops a small family farm in Ramat HaShavim, inspired by the principles of regenerative agriculture and permaculture. Throughout the course, he will share the knowledge and experience he has gained through his daily work on the farm.
The course includes 8 sessions, held every two weeks on Fridays, from 09:00–12:00:
16.10.2026 · 30.10.2026 · 13.11.2026 · 27.11.2026
11.12.2026 · 25.12.2026 · 08.01.2027 · 22.01.2027
Registration is for the full course and includes participation in all 8 sessions.
Please note: The course will be conducted in English. Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for working in the garden are recommended, as well as bringing a water bottle.
