Infra&Ultra Music Video Lab: From Idea to Finished Music Video

How can you see music? What is the connection between rhythm and form? What does color sound like, and what does a pause look like? Why can a line be sad, while an outline sounds bright?

Over the course of 2 months, you will travel from the first impulse to a finished original animated music video.

WHAT TO EXPECT

9 online group sessions of 45 minutes each + 5 individual online meetings focused on your project. Language: Russian.

You will work with original tracks by contemporary musicians, provided specifically for the course. The finished videos will be shown in December at the Infra&Ultra club.

Experience and age do not matter. You will need a computer with animation or editing software, a camera or scanner, any materials, and free time to work.

CURATORS

Natalia Ryss — experimental animation film director. Participant in international festivals including Ann Arbor, Hiroshima, Ottawa, Anima Mundi, DOK Leipzig, Jerusalem FF, and others. Collaborations with Max Cooper (UK), King Deluxe (Canada), Gleb Kolyadin (UK), Olshansky Fusion Duo (Israel), Warner Bros (USA), and others. Creator and curator of the Infra&Ultra Cinema Club.
