Welcome Home: A Table-Based Performance About Hospitality, Displacement, and Home

A performance and storytelling event bringing together guests and hosts, home and displacement, and personal stories and shared experiences.

During the years of the war, Tel Aviv became a welcoming city. Hotels, public institutions, communities, and private individuals opened their doors to those who needed a home, even if only temporarily.

In Welcome Home, we will gather around a table and meet some of the people who took part in these acts of hospitality. Each of them will bring to the table their story and something from the act of hospitality itself: a gesture, a taste, a movement, or a moment that comes back to life in an encounter with the audience.
