On the morning of October 7, 2023, journalist Amir Tibon and his family were at their home in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, less than a kilometer from the border with Gaza. His parents—retired Major General Noam Tibon and Dr. Gali Meir-Tibon—were in Tel Aviv. Hamas terrorists stormed the kibbutz, firing in every direction. Amir managed to call his father and report what was happening before taking shelter with his wife, Miri, and their two young daughters in the safe room. The film documents Noam Tibon’s heroic journey to rescue his family—and along the way, to save a couple fleeing the Nova festival and assist in evacuating wounded soldiers under fire. It combines new interviews with footage filmed that day, including documentation from Hamas terrorists’ cameras during the murderous attack.
