The first ballet in history dedicated to the enigmatic and iconic figure of Harry Houdini. He managed to escape from handcuffs, chains, the scariest prisons, and the most guarded cells, hanging upside down at great heights or underwater, in the sea or in the Chinese torture chamber — no one was ever able to stop him. Thousands of spectators worldwide were amazed by his mysterious mastery, and he continually invented new unsolvable situations to escape from them. He constantly risked his life and always won. Were there any chains from which he could not break free? And how did death finally catch up with him?
The performance is presented by the Jerusalem Ballet.
