An archaeology exhibition tour about the Israel Antiquities Authority during the Swords of Iron War, held daily at the National Campus in Jerusalem.
“Revival from the Ashes” Center
In memory of Alejandro Weinstein Karnovitz
A new exhibition that leaves a lasting impression.
The exhibition presents the story of the Israel Antiquities Authority during the “Swords of Iron” War, as an organization operating in a scene of modern destruction using archaeological tools. Visitors embark on a deeply moving emotional journey and are exposed to the perspectives of families who were able to find closure with their loved ones thanks to the work of archaeologists who took part in an unimaginable project.
Through 3D models of destruction sites, the exhibition also showcases an unprecedented documentation project of the devastated sites in the Gaza Envelope, along with the stories of those who documented them.
The tour begins on the Mosaic Roof of the National Campus for the Archaeology of Israel, displaying mosaic floors that hold stories over 1,500 years old, followed by a visit to the “Revival from the Ashes” exhibition.
The tour takes place daily, in groups, accompanied by professional and sensitive guidance.
