Come celebrate the Harvest Festival in the clear air of the north, amid spectacular landscapes, the first colors of autumn, fascinating hikes, and a special family experience.
Vacation Program
Friday | September 25, 2026
15:00 – We will meet in Metula and begin the weekend at Mount Zefiya – Dado Lookout, for a spectacular view of Metula and the Upper Galilee. From there, we will tour Israel’s northernmost town, hear about its unique history and importance over the years, and enjoy the blooming sea squill heralding the arrival of autumn.
We will then continue to a tour of Rajar, a unique and intriguing village combining history, culture, and fascinating stories amid the northern landscape.
18:00 – Arrival at Hermon Field School, room check-in, and settling in.
19:00 – Festive dinner in the sukkah.
20:30 – An interactive quiz for the whole family—a fun and experiential evening in the spirit of Sukkot. Together, we will test how well you know the north, its nature, and the stories of the region, with plenty of smiles and surprises.
Saturday | September 26, 2026
08:00 – Breakfast.
09:00 – Check-out and vacating the rooms, followed by an autumn foliage hike in the northern Golan Heights—to Tel Katz'aa and Mount Kramim. We will enjoy the first colors of autumn, the cool air, and the spectacular landscapes that make this season especially magical.
12:00 – We will conclude the weekend with a visit to the Druze market at Birkat Ram—a chance to stroll among the stalls, taste local delicacies, learn about Druze culture, and enjoy the north’s unique holiday atmosphere.
The stay includes half-board accommodation, as well as high-quality, professional guiding based on intimate knowledge of the area’s nature.
