On Saturday, September 12, and on Tuesday through Thursday, September 29-30 and October 1, birdwatching activities take place at the Hula Dunes to observe migrating birds. The guide will accompany you on a gentle hiking trail with open views and lookout points for observing flocks of cranes and storks. It is recommended to combine the visit with a stop at the Ophoria Visitor Center at the site.
Autumn has arrived, and soon the skies over the Hula Valley will fill with movement, sounds, and wings—tens of thousands of cranes, pelicans, storks, and a variety of other birds 🦅
Israel is one of the most important stops on the global migration route, and the fertile Hula Valley is the heart of this journey—a place of rest, water, and food for birds on their long trek.
At the Hula Nature Reserve, a guide will accompany you on an easy walking trail suitable for the whole family, offering open landscapes and excellent viewpoints to observe flocks of birds.
